How do I import a recipe?
There are several ways to import recipes:
- From a URL: Tap the + button, select "Import from URL", and paste a recipe link
- From Safari: Use the Share button in Safari and select Brioche
- From an image: Take a photo or select an image of a recipe
- Manually: Create a recipe from scratch
Which recipe websites are supported?
Brioche can import recipes from most popular recipe websites including:
- AllRecipes, Food Network, Epicurious
- NYT Cooking, Bon Appétit, Serious Eats
- BBC Good Food, Tasty, Delish
- And thousands more!
Why didn't my recipe import correctly?
Some websites use non-standard formats. Try these solutions:
- Make sure the URL points directly to the recipe page
- Try importing from a different source
- Use the "Import from Image" feature as a fallback
- Edit the recipe manually to fix any issues
Account & Sync
Do I need an account to use Brioche?
No, you can use Brioche without an account. However, an account is required for:
- Cloud sync across devices
- Sharing recipes with others
- Premium features
How do I sync my recipes?
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Enable "Cloud Sync" in Settings
- Your recipes will automatically sync across all your devices
What happens if I delete the app?
- With cloud sync: Your recipes are safely stored in the cloud and will restore when you reinstall
- Without cloud sync: Your recipes are only stored locally and will be lost

How do I manage my subscription?
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Find and tap "Brioche"
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find your Brioche purchase
- Follow the refund instructions
Troubleshooting
The app is running slowly
Try these steps:
- Close and reopen the app
- Check for app updates
- Restart your device
- If the issue persists, contact support
My recipes aren't syncing
- Check your internet connection
- Make sure cloud sync is enabled in Settings
- Try signing out and back in
- Contact support if the issue persists
I can't import a specific recipe
Some recipes may not import correctly due to:
- Paywalled content
- Non-standard website formats
- Temporary website issues
Try importing from a different source or use the image import feature.
